OAT Gauge

the OAT Gauge in my car does not display the outside air temperature. just shows this ---C. It displays the tach readings if i want to adjust the shift light etc. I think it's a bad OAT Temperature sensor, but where would this be located if there is one? -Bobby- '05STI by the way.

From what I have read it can be fixed with a new sensor. But before spending $35.00 you should check all of your connections and fuses related to the hvac system. If you have a volt meter that would help. The connections, I believe, are behind the dash. I have attached 2 pictures of the repair manual that I screensaved from my phone. I hope you can read them.

You have a FMIC. They may have removed it. It sits where the bumper has to be cut.

Listen to Gino he actually has experience with these cars. I just did a little research. I wonder if they did remove it if you could relocate it?
