One detail about the brakes that ALWAYS gets left out!

Brake shoes on the rear... (The hand brake connection). This always gets left out of context anywhere and everywhere....

-What are the specs behind the brake shoes?
-How often should they be replaced?
-Why aren't there any threads on them?
-Performance brake shoes? (Mu has performance ones!)

As far as the internals of the shoes/hat: Unless you're handbrake-turning all the time or super-forgetfull (driving with the handbrake on) they should be virtually indestructible.

But you will ahve to replace rotors "regularly" but mine are still friggin pristine after 7 years and track days. The rears get precious little use.
