How To: GD Stop seat belt ding

I didn't see a thread on this but I might have missed it but this is a helpful thing if your eliminating your seat belts (or just don't wear it)

all you need is your keys

1. turn car on but don't start it
2. click the seat belt in and out as fast as you can for 30 seconds

if it doesn't work the first time try again...it's helpful to have some one else count for you:tup:

Might of been a coincidence but I tried this three times. The first two did not work on the third try I did it with the door shut then it worked!

I did this in my 2011 and found a very weird link between the seat belt ding and my phone auto connecting via blue tooth.

If I disable the ding my phone won't auto connect when I start the car. When I reset it and it dings my phone connects fine.
