Quick journal here. But lots of pics and really quick progress to look through...LOL.

I got the car 2 years ago. Enjoyed the crap out of it. But then last year I put on some of the parts posts below early, the V-Mount and TGV deletes, and the car didn't like that too much and blew up. Like one piston actually blew into pieces. So it was time to start building and getting everything needed to make this car faster and stronger than before.

So I went from this:

The next few pictures show how I needed to mod my Cosworth baffle plate to cooperate with the Moroso pan and it's stupidly-extreme-heavy-duty oil pickup along with a pic of the finished product:

So how did you do that to your piston? That seems....excessive!

Also, you mentioned that you did all this yourself--are you just a skilled hobbyist, or have you ever worked in the auto industry?

Haha, car hated me I guess. I put on the TGV deletes and V-Mount earlier without a tune. Also had an SRI on. Either way a bearing spun and...BOOM!

Skilled hobbyist I guess. I just take my car apart for fun and put it back together better, haha!!! It's a good time.

Never once have I worked in a shop or anything like that. Mastercraft socket set, engine stand/hoist, torque wrench and I'm good to go.

Yeah the baffle plate and business was a little mess, trimming flaps and cutting holes, but it works. I am glad I am not the only one who's running this in a way, that way I know I'm not insane, haha!!! At least we have good tastes, :p

I could kiss you right now!! I have a Cosworth baffle and the same exact Moroso pan. Now I know what I must modify to get it to fit as well as an idea for making my alternator bracket for my reverse intake manifold!!!
