Nothing special here. Just a fresh wash and good cleaning. My neighbors probably shake their heads every time I wash my cars. Pull the IC off as well to see if I had any oil in there. Just a little bit, nothing to worry about.

Hmmmm that seems to be more than just a little bit. How much oil do you lose after 3k miles, if any?

I check my oil weekly and sometimes twice a week depending on how far I travel. I don't think I burn any oil. Oil level stays the same. Also there wasn't any oil in the intercooler just a little bit of residue.

I've seen other 15s that will have a pool of oil in the IC with less mileage than mine. But those guys really beat their cars.

For now just using the Subaru synthetic 5w30. My next oil change I'll probably go with something else. Not sure what though.
