That is really cool...

We use to go to camp Hero in Montauk Point. It is an abandoned military base at the very end of Longisland. Everything is still there such as the radar tower, the control center, a number of gun turrets and bunkers and at the north end there are the barrack and a whole small town complete with houses, a bowling alley and a bank.

Next time I am there I will take some pictures! Or you could Google Earth it :tup:

Take some next time ....I've only gone hiking once in a campsite...I plan on on camping in the wild with a couple of friends this coming year

An old ski area in Argentina. The road to get there would've been a pretty epic rally stage.

Didn't explore them at all. I think some are still used, to sell some snacks and stuff. This site is a popular spot for hikers and whatnot to set out from, so I guess they get enough business to keep them going. But it was 40 minutes up a mountain in the middle of nowhere! I dont live there, was just there on vacation a few weeks ago.

This was sometime during summer at some old dam in the mountains

This is an abandoned fire tower and u can see the Pacific Ocean I believe.

Mammoth Mountain in California when I used to work with Kodak 4 years ago, had the chance to train a new team for the season.
I actually have alot of pictures stocked up since 09 I think. Started to be a photographer around then.
