Been a while since I've been around. Didn't end up pulling the engine since I didn't get the gaskets in time. Also been stupid busy and unmotivated because the snow/freezing rain has been atrocious. I didn't even drive the turd for a week since I only have 4" of clearance and couldn't make it through the snow haha.

On a better note, I have an interview for my dream job with my dream employer in a few weeks!! If I get it I'll finally be able to afford to tie up loose ends plus start doing fun stuff to the turd! Or sell it to a local bro and start fresh with a stupid clean STI hatch like I wanted to do originally haha.

Been crunch time so I've been neglecting the turd. But I smelled fuel really bad when I was warming up my car tonight and have about five fuel leaks under my manifold that I have already fixed before. So I'm pretty sure the hard lines are scratched to the point I need to replace some stuff. I'm going to work on a list tomorrow but so far I'm thinking Radium rails with dampers, Radium JDM manifold adapters, PTFE lined braided hose connected to the hard lines that run under the car.

Just dropped $1k on rails, lines, fittings, and long overdue E85 compatible fuel filter. Holy fuck shit adds up quick. I'll get some pics up when it all gets here.

Congrats bro on the new items I'm currently researching gauges and data logging tools so I can keep gauges to a minimum so I don't feel like I'm sitting in a cock out of a fighter jet.

I am doing the same. Also I think after I get it back up I will go a route similar to the holycrapitsfast is using but in gauge form. Basically what I am thinking is two gauges. One that reads egt on 1,2,3,4 and then on second gauge I want fuel pressure, oil pressure, oil temp and boost. I hate that no one sells multi-gauges with the common items that we like to keep an eye on.

Trust me I know shit adds up quick. But don't worry it's just money. Hard to come easy to go.

Kept having to make changes as I went along due to things not working in practice vs what was in my head. Finally ran all the lines though and just have to tuck some stuff, tighten fittings, and should be done. Items I ended up using:

-Russell Proflex Hose
-Russell Full-flow Fittings
-Radium Fuel Rails
-Radium Dampers (in rails)
-Radium JDM Rail Adapters
-Radium FPR
-Radium Fuel Gauge
-Radium Fiberglass Filter
-Aeromotive Barb to AN Adapters

So ran into a mishap. I bought some fresh o-rings from FIVEO for my injectors since everything else was going to be new. The o-ring that goes into the manifold was a little different from the one I was using but I didn't think too much of it. The injectors had originally fit oddly but I attributed that to the JDM manifold and rails and moved on. Well this time the o-ring thing kept nagging at me so I talked to FIVEO about it and sent some pictures. Turns out the injectors were the wrong body for my car. And it's kind of a miracle I got them to fit in there and run great in the first place. So my options were try and cram them back in with the old shitty o-rings I had and try and get them to work again, or buy new injectors. Well FIVEO offered to take back the incorrect injectors and sell me a new set specifically for my car at an OBSCENE discount! Props to FIVEO for their outstanding customer service!

I also think my catch cans were doing more harm than good so I'm selling those to a buddy and going without until I can get a matching Radium AOS. I'm pretty sure they were causing excessive crank case pressure, preventing my turbo from draining properly, and that's why I've been losing oil out my tailpipe.
HolyCrapItsFast will this require tweaking to the injectors on my tune even though they will be same brand, model, and size? Also going to start sending more data to continue tuning if my turbo really is ok.
