Just bought some BC BR coilovers for my sti, along with 275/40/18 sumitomo tires
The vendor I'm getting it from told me I can get my spring rated. I'm not sure what he meant. I'm hoping to get an insight on what that does?

Honestly, I'm not sure wth he's talking about either.

With some coils you have options on the stiffness of the spring rating. So im assuming the vendor is asking how stiff he wants them.

If that's what he's asking, that's one hell of a strange way to ask.

Anyway, what spring rates are you considering, on_a_quest ?

I assume he means get the spring rates you desire?

First off, you need to determine what the spring rate is of your current springs, whether they're stock or otherwise. This way, you have a frame of reference so you know how stiff you'll be going in relation to what you have now.
