304 stainless tube bumper/interchangeable aluminum panels

I made this bumper out of frustration with the flimsy plastic stock one that blew apart at the Oregon trail rally this year.

It was a fun project. I painted the revision 1 panels glossy black to match the hood scoop delete.

The great thing is that if I remove the crash bar this unit comes off as an entire assembly in one piece. It is strong as sin.

The panels help with the aerodynamics of the car but are not really needed.

I like it, reminds me of mine a little. How sturdy is it and what is it mounted to underneath?

Welded to the frame. Not sure what you mean by "what is it mounted to underneath". It is entirely one piece welded into the crash bar.

Looks like 2 bars run underneath the radiator support, guess they are to the holes where the splash guard mounts.
