Hey everyone. New to Igotasti but not new to Subarus. This is my second (first was a LGT wagon). I am finishing up school in Colorado (Senior at DU) and will be moving back home to Los Angeles in June.

Just a few things about me... I am finishing up a degree in Music (Jazz Drumset) as well as an unofficial minor in Business. I am currently working in Commercial Real Estate and plan on becoming a principal ASAP!

Have you taken the re760s to the track? If so, how are they?

And it's funny you mention the calipers... I am debating refinishing them this week and I can't decide.

I had them painted a few years back and they have taken a beating. Part of me wants to refinish this week, part of me wants to just wait and let them look 'racecar' for now and then this summer when I do a 2011 swap, I will have the calipers professionally painted.


What does everyone think???


If I do it myself, I am doing VHT Burnt Copper.

If I have a shop do it, I will do a Lamborghini Metallic (giallo orion, arancio borealis or verde ithaca)

Do you track at all? Any light colored paint is gonna fade. It looks killer to start but yellow will turn brown.

Car has seen the track a few times and probably more in the future.

I have rocked yellow calipers for 2 years now... little fading and ZERO brown. They are just beat up from break jobs and winters.

I'm really sick of Facebook to be honest. We block tons of garbage on there, and to be honest we ban people daily like water for their rude comments. Like I said before we aren't for everyone, and who wants to deal with all that garbage on a daily basis. Not me! I'm glad that isn't on here, or I would shut it down!
