Cruise control

Hi all,
My cruise control on my 06 STI is not working. Well its not activating. I bought the car like this. There are no errors coming up. Any idea what it could be?

Could be the little switch on the clutch pedal. If the clutch pedal doesn't depress out all the way, cruise control won't work. If the clutch pedal is fine, then the switch could've gone faulty. A new one is like $10.

How many switches are there for the cruise control? Only this one?

I had a look at the bottom now but cant see anything wrong
The trigger is pushed in about 95%

Test the voltage, I suppose.

Bit of a bugger to get in i suppose. Will ask a friend and maybe install his switch and see what happens

I used to have a similar issue on my 04 sti. It ended up being the neutral safety switch on the trans mission. At least my cruise control would sometimes come on but would randomly drop. Any ways if the switch on the pedal assembly is not the issue check the neutral safety switch on the transmission.

Where is it located and how can i test it?

Don't have laptop right now so not 100% on this being the right location For the 06 but seems about right.
