It pains me to sell this car/part out but the time has come. Moving onto new ventures, ie. building an autocross STR S2000 this time around and don't have the time or money for two project cars right now.
The car has been bulletproof all summer long. I've only run it in a handful of autocrosses this year and it's been down to Tail of the Dragon without incident. I've owned the car since about April of last year. All last season it was run in STX with a stock turbo and Cobb's OTS STX tune. Over the winter I took on the project of gaining a bit more top end from the car while still retaining reliability. I choose a Blouch TD05H-16G turbo for the car and all the supporting mods to go along with it. It was tuned by Hill McCarty at Agile Auto in Maryland mid March. The best run was 277whp 270ft lbs and was tuned for 21psi. Turbo swap and mods were done at 97,500 miles, there are now 7,000 reliable miles on the swap.
Since purchasing the car all oil changes have been with Redline 0W-30 in the winter and Rotella T6 5W-40 in the summer. Transmission and diff fluids are all Motul 300 product. Brakes and clutch cylinders are ATE Super Blue. I firmly believe in using good product and changing it often for both performance and reliability reasons. The car is very well maintained.
The car is ready for a timing belt change which I will do if it hits 105,000 miles before sale. I am also including the stock 16" wheels with 205/55x16 Bridgestone G 019 Grid tires at about 75% tread depth. Also included is stock swaybars and mounts, stock injectors, stock engine mounts and a set of front and rear NAPA stock replacement brake pads that I run over the winter.
