Awesome! How much did that run you, if you don't mind my asking? Let us know how you like it! I've considered something like this for a long time, but I haven't been able to determine a price I want to pay. I just never know what price level you have to reach to get a quality unit. I imagine there is a lot of cheap junk on the market right now among the good ones.

By the way, nice garden in the backyard!

That's sick!

Well, when I first was told about the DJI Inspire n how all amazing it was. I checked it out online and it didn't disappoint till I saw the price tag of 2.9k on it. But they do have their more mainstream Phantom series, Phantom 3 that just recently released I think, sitting around 1300. Which is pretty much a complete setup too btw. It has the quadcopter, camera, and gimbal. Price point wise is pretty unbeatable imo.

Now, I looked else where n found 3DR. 3DR Solo also just released beginning of June however it was hard to get period and my May 26th order didn't come till July 6th. To this day, its still on preorder. Price on just the Solo is $999 with a standard gopro frame holder. Gimbal is another 399, plus more if you dont have a GoPro already and more for a tablet or phone, but safe to say most of one or the other already. I primarily decided on this one due to its simplistic design and features.

Heh yea, I went all out. If you want something really basic and super easy to use, I'd go follow Lily drone https://www.lily.camera/
Its still in the works though, but even I might want to dish out more cash just for this one.

I don't mean to come off as a cheap ass, but I was expecting a $500-900 range. If I wasn't constantly on the look out for $1,000 guns and thousands of dollars in engine parts, I'd probably have already bought a good quality drone. Guns and engines are expensive.

I've seen those, they look pretty awesome!

Haha yea, I was originally looking at 3DR Iris+ https://store.3drobotics.com/products/iris?taxon_id=32
Currently $599

But then I caught wind of a brand new product being released for June, so I waited and ate the cost for this one due to the features that had me sold as a first time flyer.
