Yeah, I'd say go for it, the AGX is the adjustable version I believe. I had GR-2's on my AW11 waaaay back in the day, not bad at all for the price. Post up a review for the forums benefit!
I've had great personal experience with the the KYB AGX's, set up with Eibach sportline springs on my old car. It'll be interesting to see how these compare to JDM pinks and the spring/strut setup TiC pushed (Tokiko?).
The DSM guys have shunned them from over the years due to constant blowout issues. Maybe they've corrected that since then and maybe it's different for your application. If you are running heavy springs my advice would be no go with something better like Koni.
Take it for what it's worth but you will not be finding a DSM guy recommending KYB anything.
