New STI owner in WA

Hello! Just picked up my 2011 Wrx Sti sedan about a month ago. I bought it stock but already installed a Cobb intake, Cobb downpipe, invidia q300, and Cobb ap with tune at PIA in Tacoma. Made 301whp. Then I went down to royal city for race wars (1/4 mile drags) and made 7 passes. Pretty fun! Decided I wanted more power. Ordered a Bousch 20g, ETA titanium pipe front mount, 900cc injectors, Deutsch fuel pump, Tial EWG, Tial Bov, grimmspeed uppipe, and Cobb EBCS. All this was recommended by PIA. (Obviously this site is international so you probably have no idea who PIA is but it's a local subaru specialist performance shop) I should be around 380whp. I wasn't going to go above that on stock motor. Anyways, ill probably go do 1/4 mile drags a few times a year. I realize our cars aren't particular recommended for that but it's a family thing so I want to participate.. If I need to fix things from time to time, so be it. I'm willing to do so. Anyways, really enjoying the car and ill post updates on the install. Ill be getting the parts on the 30th and should be done by the 2nd. Cheers all.

Welcome! And nice pic there, I had a chance to drive a 11 STi for a long time. Similar parts till you added on more there haha, must be an awesome feel with that power :subaru:

No but I've been thinking about that.. I only have 30k but I doubt it's going to hold long if at all.. Ill probably end up purchasing one in the near future. I also plan on some springs and sways. Although I doubt ill do autocross.. Even though
It would probably do better there than on a drag strip. Lol. After this big spending on the turbo and associated parts ill need to be good for awhile..

Awesome, yeah.. I pulled up at a stop light next to a 15' sti last night. They look so good.. Kind of made me wish I had stepped up a few thousand for one of those. Lol. Picked my up for 32k with 30k on it. It was an okay deal, nothing spectacular. I think the new ones are 40? I guess that's more than a few thousand difference lol.

Base 15 starts at 36k and those options definitely bump to you 40k very fast! :lol:

Yeah, I can imagine.. Lol. At first I wasn't sure if I was a fan of the new body style but it has grown on me. Looks pretty aggressive and bold. The blue with gold wheels looks really good. I think I saw a red one online and it looked great too. It's always a bummer to buy one a few years old and then see the new body style start rolling out... Lol. 40k though?! Add in tax and that's a pretty hefty sum.

If anyone's interested in seeing me whooping up on a fully bolted Ms3, look up dtp racing on Facebook on the last video they posted.. It's about 2 1/2 minutes long and I'm in it at about 2:15 or so I think. Watching that made me realize how quiet my car is. Lol. I traded a mazdaspeed in for my STI so it felt good to beat one that had a few more modifications than I have.

Well, today's the day. Installing my 20g blouch turbo, 900cc inj's, duetschwerks fuel pump, ETS front mount, grimmspeed uppipe, Tial EWG, Tial Bov, and Cobb EBCS. Stoked. Will have it on the dyno Thursday and we'll see what I can put down on pump gas.

I pushed out some emails today to 4 dealers, one said they have 2 on the way. But the color I want didnt have any options on it, and the one that had options on it that I wanted and then some was the wrong color. lols I'm still happy to wait though, still need to save up during the back order time frame.

18th you should hit up racewars. It's private air strip drags. Pretty fun.

Made 365whp 335tq. Not bad but that's stock block so that was the max we could push it.
