Silver Bullet 2004 WRX STI

So next question I have for you HolyCrapItsFast, is what size injectors should I be looking for. Currently running tomei headers, deadbolt 20g td06, stock cams. Internals are stock crank, Manley I-beams and manly 612000cb-1 Pistons. Also have 255lph fuel pump already installed. Right now have the stock side feeds in there.

Ok so rotating assembly won't be done till Tuesday with balancing. So what's an Anxious person to do?

Paint his headers to protect against the elements.

Start off by wire wheeling the bare metal to Remove any surface rust and other contaminants. Then clean all surfaces with lacquer thinner to remove all oils. Followed off by masking off all the gasket areas.

Hang up parts so that it is easy to apply paint on all surfaces.

Then apply 4 coats with 10 minutes in between each coat, as per instructions on can.

Are you going from side feed to top feed now?

It's why I've invested money in to the porting equipment I've ordered or am ordering.

yes i plan to go from side feed to top feed setup. I also plan to do a TGV delete mod. Basic tools will be used.

Hand saw to make initial cut on the aluminum, and then die grinder with various bits to smooth it out. Finally gonna use some aluminum brazing rods to fill the wholes, and re-smooth.

link to the rods can be found here.

As I don't think my intake will ever reach anywhere near 700*F, it should not be an issue.

Ok some kid project updates.

These are going to be the gaskets that I use to port match the intake manifold and TGV Housings.

I am just using OEM for now as I can always remove more material later.

Looking good how many hours you have of port work done to them and are you going to do the intake manifold as well

I have about three hours on this one TGV. Mostly because first one and going slow, as I don't know the thickness of the metal and don't want it to be too thin.
