So what if you have to have the motor rebuilt due to ringland failure what parts could or should you upgrade to ensure this wont happen again?

The way I feel is that if someone Cracks a ringland its best to start with a new block, add some drop in pistons, and depending on power goals, some Rods. But if you are dead set on re-using the old block, It will have to be completely disassembled, and depending on the damage Either be Tq plate honed or even punched out .25mm. But I feel its easier to start out with a fresh block.
Lets say no more than 400 whp. What pistons would be recommended and should I do rods?

Wiseco Pistons would be fine. While you are in there it wouldn't be a bad idea to do rods.

Holy it was a Cobb OTS map that I had. On the pistons and rods which models? Just cheapest forged?
