Well, seeing as there isn't a section for electrical, or I completely over-looked it, I will post here as headlights are external, haha!
Anyhow, for a while now, my driver headlight has been shutting off on bumps and hard lefts, Weird huh? It will turn back on if I slightly lift and lower the parking brake handle. Last night I pulled the bumper and the headlight assembly, pulled the ballast off, and proceeded to "simulate" a bumpy road by slapping the hell out of the headlight. With the ballast off and held in my hand, The headlight would shut off. This to me signifies the bulb, correct? I did pull the bulb and took a look at it. Inside it has a couple chambers, one of which is a small round one, This chamber has a crusty looking white build up in it. I believe it is the sign that it is bad. Before I go spend $80 on a new bulb, has anyone else had this issue? Maybe a solution if it's not the bulb?
