Saw this site after talking to 07STIChic. I Was originally looking at a 2011 WRX about 6 months ago. Went and test drove one and I loved the power and the interior, but the cars exterior just looked so boring compared to the older cars. After that I was thinking about looking for a used STi, but when the news came out that you couldnt order any more 2011s, that sealed the deal. I wanted an 04 STi because I just liked the way it drove better than the 05's, and I dont like the front end on the 06-07s. I always liked the bugeye look the best, but they didnt make a USDM STi with that body. Lo and behold, I found a local pirate who had an 04 STi with a bugeye front end, including JDM v7 HID lights. If I had an STi already I wouldnt go through the trouble or cost to change the front end, but this way the work was already done.

I have been looking around here for the last 30 minutes, and this place seems a lot friendlier than the "other" STI site.

Sounds good. One quick question. I went to add an avatar, and there wasn't an option to add one. Do you have to have a certain number of posts before it will let you?

you have to become a sponsor to have an avatar. Perks of being a sponsor, the giveaways!

But welcome to the site. That's a pretty interesting look, very different I like it!

Anytime my friend. I'm jealous of you. I love the front end on your STi. I wish SOA still made the bugeye.

Those pictures were taken by the previous owner. Since I'm not home yet I haven't had a chance to take any good pictures yet. I live in Littleton, and drive to the springs for work every day.

I dont mind it so much. I usually drive the CTS since its so comfortable, but when its snowing a ton I take the Jeep. This will be my first winter with the STI and I'm looking forward to it!

Just don't wreck it. I've known many a people who drive their sti in the snow and oops it's totaled. People Like Gino and myself are those guys that fly by everybody in the snow and ice. I ended up using my front end as a snow plow on the firebreaks. The snow was about a foot deep and here I am rallying through them.
