I'm building mine for the track. Coilovers will handle the bumpy roads. :tard:

Mine is going to be purpose built too (getting a 2nd car as a DD), but I was just curious if a little flex was necessary. If not, then I'll do the same

Your telling me that I could get grate handling results by doing this? Guess that will be my spring brake project then. I have a Lincoln Mig welder and a Tig welder at home. Guess I will use the Mig as it is faster than the Tig and I don't need the bling factor of Tig under a carpet.

Now, any tips on what are the useful areas to seam weld? Do I need to weld every union on the car or just the chassis bits? If its up to me Ill end up with something similar along the lines of overkill and Fuji. Lol.

I can use mechanical methods to remove contaminants, then spray some fendix or something to avoid corrosion.
