Don't forget to wire wheel the bolt too before the anti seize

 I generally brush them up if they need it.

Well, the lower drain plug bolt is perfectly round now. I might take yanez.alex1108 advice and go get a damaged bolt remover, but even with the PB Blaster and two rounds of heating things up with a torch, it would not budge. If an extractor can grab it, I still don't think I'll budge it. I can just take that whole pan off, which shouldn't be too horrible.
I got the intercooler and bumper support repainted. I actually managed to pull that broken screw out of my MAF housing (the really hard one to reach) with a Speed-Out "as seen on TV" kit after not having any luck with a high priced Bosch kit. Go figure.

I might just continue with cutting the skid plate and splitter instead of screwing with the tranny fluid. Fuck it, it'll get done later. :banghead: That way I can get the FMIC couplers tightened down again, bumper put on and get it running.

You used a metric size right? It's 21mm I believe, unless you have the T70, mine was a hex just like the diagram here

Yes I'm using metric sizes, my upper plug is 21mm while newer models have the T70. That's pretty @#$&ing tight right now, but the lower oil pan side is the bolt I destroyed. Lower is 14mm.

Got the MAF out, cleaned, reinstalled and the boost tubes all back together. All the paint has dried so once I finished cutting the skid plate and splitter, I can start putting everything back together. I still need to bake my headlights and replace the lenses as well.

Hopefully I'll be all done this weekend.

Access hole for oil drain plug is done.
Now onto the oil filter access hole. I sure hope I measured correctly.

Done. I've already cut a hole in the splitter to match the skid plate for the oil filter access hole.

Thanks! A circle is a bitch to cut out with an angle grinder.

I was putting it back on and decided at the last minute I'd cut a slot for the upper transmission drain plug as well.

I can hardly wait to be rid of these headlight lenses! Look at all the adhesive on them!

So this is happening.

...and the lenses from these other headlights are going on mine.

What temp did you bake them and for how long? This looks like fun

225 for 14 minutes. Take the screws out before you put the headlight in the oven. ***Whatever you do, never touch the inside of the lens cover. It'll never look the same again and if you buff it out, it'll fog up later. Wear latex or vinyl medical gloves just in case you happen to touch the inside, so your skin oil will not leave a mark.***
